My grandfather Gus started welcoming patrons to the Franklin Park Tavern more than 80 year ago. Shortly after he took ownership of the tavern it became known to all as Gus’s; Seafood was added to the menu along with traditional American fare and Gus’s signature German dishes.

Gus always treated his patrons as family. Whatever your station in life, you were greeted with a smile, and the hospitality and friendliness became infectious. The Tavern’s reputation for warmth, good cheer along with the quality of the food quickly made it a landmark destination throughout Westchester County.

My father and I have continued these traditions over the past 30 years. In 1995, we opened our small fish store to offer our quality seafood for patrons to be enjoyed at home.

Today we want to introduce you to “The Market at Gus’s.” I opened our market next to the tavern so we could bring you more high quality seafood, a Service Butcher Shoppe, Gus’s Kitchen and all the ingredients you need to prepare a great Gus’s meal at home.
